The firm was formed in 1983. Our practice is limited to Family Law and related matters. Since we are situated close to the state line, our practice is divided between both Missouri and Kansas. We represent clients mainly in Jackson, Platte, Clay and Cass counties in Missouri and Johnson, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas. We are proud of our results. For the past 24 years, Anita I. Rodarte has devoted her law practice to assisting clients in family law matters. Anita’s extensive experience includes negotiated settlement and litigation of cases involving complex asset valuation and division, spousal support, parenting and custody conflicts, interstate custody and child support disputes, guardianship of minors, and enforcement of parental access and support issues.

She is recognized in the 2007 and 2008 Editions of Best Lawyers in America and Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers in the field of Family Law. She was named in Kansas City Magazine’s Super Lawyers of Missouri and Kansas in the field of family law as well as being named among the Top 50 Women Super Lawyers in Missouri and Kansas.

Anita is particularly known for her skill and experience in the Appellate Courts where she has briefed and argued more than 35 appeals of family law cases. In addition, Anita provides consultation assistance to attorneys in family law litigation and appellate matters.
